A view from the cheap seats

Just a few personal observations from the balcony during last nights roll up.. something i should do more often

I was so pleased to watch over what i thought were 4 rinks of bowling of a terrific standard from members old & new..I cannot go through everybody, but it was great to see "established members" who still have the old magic, Margaret & Janet in particular played some excellent woods, Penny for taking the time to assist Kevin throughout the game (hope it didn't help him too much as i play him today), Barbara looked the most improved player of the season so a special well done to you..& then the newbies.. Mike.. excellent... i know you come down & practice more than most, but it shows in your game.. very well done sir! Andy & Carolyn, great to see you acknowledge my shout of well bowled with a thumbs up & even better when Carolyn responded on the next rink fired one down for shot wood & did a little jig.. great bowling, & it is fun!!! Elizavet improving fast, keep it up & Graham & Steve P for being skip for the night... it looks different from that end doesn't it!!!

But a well done to you all, great night, great bowling... keep practicing, keep improving... the club gets better when you as an individual get better...i think the club is in good hands with you lot..
