A warm welcome to you.

Bovey Tracey Bowling Club was formed in 1911 and is one of the oldest bowling clubs in Devon.

The Club is affiliated to Bowls England, Bowls Devon, Mid Devon Bowling League and the South Devon Ladies Bowls League.

The Club is situated in the recreation ground on the outskirts of Bovey Tracey, with ample parking for visiting bowlers and small touring sides. Renowned for its friendliness, the Club attracts members from Bovey Tracey and surrounding areas.

Throughout the summer season (April until September) the Club plays a host of friendly fixtures plus league matches for both men and women. In addition members may enter county competitions. During the winter months the Club has a number of friendly matches with Indoor Clubs and roll-ups at a Torquay hotel plus, an active Social Committee organises a varied social programme.

The Club is always pleased to welcome new members of all ages, either experienced bowlers or those wishing to try bowls for the first time.  

The club can offer new members the services of two bowling coaches

At the end of April / early May, the Club holds an Open Day for prospective members, this is advertised locally and on the Club's website. Of course, you are welcome to visit us anytime - please refer to our Contact page for relevant information.
