Bank holiday BBQ day
Bovey Tracey Bowling Club.
Once a year we hold a Ladies v Men’s Club match. This happened on Bank Holiday Monday and the ladies won; for the first time ever!
The sun shone, the ladies wore team colours (just because!) and the men tried hard. But the ladies held strong!
Bowls was followed by a fabulous BBQ, lots of salads & sides and yummy desserts.
It was a tight squeeze to cater for over 70 but as usual the whole team pulled together and it was a huge success, raising over £260 for the Clubs fundraising appeal.
Huge thanks to everyone involved in preparing the green, planning, preparing and cooking the food and for those that rolled up their sleeves and washed up, swept the floors and left the clubhouse ready for another day!
