CAR BOOT SALE

The Fundraising Committee are again organising a Car Boot Sale which is taking place at the Recreation grounds on Sunday 16th August 2026 from 7.00am to 12 pm.

We are doing this in conjunction with The Cricket Club which will enable us to maximise the car pitches by parking along the hedge parallel to the road as the car park has been greatly reduced due to recent facilities being built.We will be splitting the proceeds for the sale of the pitches but other than that each club will raise its own funds from their own events.

This advance notice is to give all members the opportunity to start collecting items for the club to sell in our own car boot plus items for the bottle tombola, plant stall and childrens lucky dip. Members may wish to have their own car in the event which is quite acceptable.

This event was such a success last year and everyone's contribution whether big or small was brilliant. So please help us again this year to raise more funds for the building of the new balustrade which we hope will be ready for next season.
