County Games

This week following on from Phil C & Dave C victory in the mens pairs, I am happy to report Phil got the double up by winning his 1st round singles as well..great start chaps!!

Victory in the mens pairs was also achieved by Kenny B & Roger B away at a scorching Newton Abbot... & Sarah B & Kenny also won their mixed pairs

In the Minor pairs an all Bovey tie in what was an excellent quality game went the way of Andy W & Sue J, against Deborah B & Roger B.. the match going down to the last wood on the last end... well done to all, but especially Andy who got the 1pt he needed to qualify as a full county player.. Congratulations Andy...!!!!

In the ladies singles its sad to report that both Sarah B & Deborah B lost their respective matches, but both were unlucky enough to draw very strong opponents & played well.. 2026 has a Bovey name ready to go on the trophy...
