Important update from Cricket club re new works

Colin has been informed by the Cricket Club that groundwork on their new development, will commence immediately after the August bank holiday..

This will mean that we can still use the existing carpark by the Tennis courts but the area of grass next to this will be where the groundworks will take place & therefore there will be no access to that area... There will be some grassed area still available for parking at the main gate end of the recreation ground...

Once the groundworks are complete (approx 1 month), the cricket club/council will update us on dates for the next stages of the proposal. Colin has been assured that the access down to the existing car park will remain open throughout the works & through the winter months.
