Luckily the weather just about held for the visit of 36 children from our local school...

The morning went really well with it seems all the kids enjoying their bowling & many didn't want to go back.. split into 2 groups, a short tuition session was followed by a practice & finally a small competition was held on each of the 4 rinks.

All students afterwards were awarded a certificate, bowling badge, & given a drink & chocolate biscuit, to mark their day. The accompanying school staff were all very pleased with what we achieved on the day & were very complimentary.

We will shortly hold a review of the morning & report again..

Thanks to everyone who donated their woods for use, they have all been cleaned and left in the ladies loo...

Special thanks to Annette, Ken, Kenny, Arthur, Colin & Chris S for helping on the day & another mention to Chris for getting the green playable for us... Finally, Julie Chew for setting the event in motion & being our contact at school..I think a good day was had by all..

Photos will follow subject to school clearance.... update only 1 photo allowed by school.. great technique though....

Regards Roger & Sarah (coaching team)
