Todays new members competition

Luckily the weather held up, a large number of members turned up to support the event & a great turnout by the new guys meant that all 4 rinks were full for the competition.

The 1st round was played over 10 ends on a points scoring system & the 2 bowlers who progressed to the final were Kev Wakefield 22pts & Tyler Smith 19pts..

The final was played in traditional format over six ends, where in a match played in good spirit with some terrific bowling from both chaps Kev emerged as the winner.

Well done to both finalists & indeed to all who took part, it was a lovely afternoon & great to see you all..
