Update on the new decking from Steve

New deck and glass balcony

The plans have been approved by Building Regs with some minor
adjustments.
The work will start after the closing of the green, we have to
remove the existing decking leaving a clear site for the builder and
there is some remedial work on the support under the door that we
have to complete first.
I will need some help for that and will ask for that nearer the time.
The builder will start work in early October and will take about 3
weeks, we cannot order the glass balcony until we have the exact
measurements of the decking.

The glass will take approx a week to arrive and a further day or 2 to install

Access to the club will be via the back door while the decking is
being installed
There will be no disabled access for the duration of the work.
A plan of the proposed work will be displayed in the clubhouse.
