We are now getting close to our big day and everyone is helping in many ways.
A few pointers for you all,
We are working closely with the cricket club in this venture and the relationship between the two clubs has been great so long may it continue, please offer them the same courtesy as you would our own members.
The cricket club has been able to arrange with Wifford Farm parking for the public coming to the car boot this will alleviate the pressure on the roads around the recreation grounds and hopefully encourage more people to attend. It is only a two minute walk from the grounds
so hopefully it will be used.
On Saturday after the Australian Pairs match it would be helpful if those members helping with the car boot on Sunday could meet at 5 o'clock in the club house to help prepare the items we are selling and move the furniture down to the changing rooms to ensure a smooth set up on Sunday morning. Also the Marshall's will need to know their duties and work out who will be where when. This should not take too long so maybe just an hour of your time. Do not worry if you can not make it. I am sure things will work out fine on Sunday.
We would appreciate it if you could be on site at 6.30 to 7.00 am to help set everything up.
I am hoping the day will be as successful as last year. Enjoy yourselves and remember the reward SHOULD be a new balustrade at the end of the season.
