The maintenance team Dave, Chris, Andy, Phil, Terry and myself have been busy: a new roof has been put on the Clubhouse, the 2 equipment sheds have been refelted, the rear doors and frame of the Clubhouse have been repaired, we have removed the old fence between us and the cricket club and a new fence will be installed in a couple of weeks and the usual annual repairs and painting are ongoing .

The major operation of moving the 3 water tanks from behind the Clubhouse is nearing completion, this has involved a new water and electricity supply and we are very fortunate that after removing the fence Dave was able to use his digger to excavate the 5 metre by 2 metre hole and use his trailer to transport the 4 tonnes of sand, gravel and cement to the Club, saving the club considerable expense .

I hope that we will all be able to enjoy playing this year.
