indoor friendly at Dawlish.... result

Bovey's indoor team played an invitational friendly at Dawlish IBC yesterday and were grateful to our hosts for kindly providing us with two players to make up our numbers. The results didn't quite go our way with two rinks losing on the last end after being one shot up on Phil's rink and level on Alastair's.

Rink scores were as follows;

David, Graham S, Christina & Chris S lost 10 - 19

Julie, Graham (guest), Terry & Alastair lost 15 - 18

Arthur, John (guest), Keith & Phil J lost 16 - 20

Regardless of the result, a pleasant afternoon was enjoyed by all and we look forward to revisiting next winter season.

Only two more indoor friendlies are left to play, both at the Derwent, before the green opening. Next Wednesday's game is fully booked and there is one available place for the final match a week on Monday, 23rd.
