"Bovey Tracey Bowling Club are holding their annual Open Day on Sunday 26th April between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the bowling green (between the cricket and tennis clubs) on the Recreation Ground, Newton Road. Bovey Tracey The club is keen to attract new bowlers interested in learning to play lawn bowls and everyone is welcome to come along and have a go. There's no dress code; you just need to wear flat shoes on the green, equipment will be provided and people can just drop in and out when convenient. Qualified coaches and club members will be on hand to give guidance on playing and to provide information about the club and its various activities, refreshments will be provided throughout the day free of charge. Come and give it a try, if you "get the bowling bug" Half-price annual membership and free ongoing coaching sessions are being offered to any new members and Bovey Tracey bowling club are keen to promote bowls as an enjoyable and inclusive sport for all ages and abilities and to provide a friendly, sociable meeting place for its members.
